Have you ever been the new kid at school?  How did you feel?  What did you do?  And how did you treat everyone?  This was Roz’s experience when she came to the island.  To survive, she wanted to connect with all the animals and make friends.  She made a really big impact on the island.

One of the most important things that Roz does to change the island’s community is she changes how most of the animals think and behave in their every day life. For example, over time, Roz began to gain all the animals’ trust by observing their behaviour and learning to speak their languages.  She treated all the animal equally and with lots of respect.  Every animal including the carnivores began to be nice to her and each other.  Eventually, every animal, including foxes and birds, and animals that used to eat each other, started to get along.  She was known as everyone’s friends. She got to know everyone on the island by name.  The island became a very a peaceful place as a result of Roz’s behaviour.

Another example of her kindness is when Roz made lodges and fires in each of the lodges to keep the animals warm during the big snow storm. None of the animals were expecting the snowstorm to come so early, so many of the animals died including one of the bird’s in the flock.  Roz, along with Mr. and Mrs. Beaver, built lodges to keep all the animals warm.  Roz had to make a really big lodge for the moose.  All the animals who eventually got into the lodges were protected except one of the lodges burst into flames as they put too many logs in the fire.  Roz went into this burning lodge to save a baby animal from being burnt.

Lastly, when the three RICOS came to the island, everyone on the island stopped the three RICOS from getting to Roz and taking her away.  since Roz was so nice to everyone and influenced their change in how they treated one another, the animals returned the favour and protected Roz from the three RICOS.  The two bear cubs risked their lives to save Roz and their mom got shot for her.  The animals may not have protected Roz if she hadn’t saved so many of them throughout the story.

That is how I think Roz changed the community.  Everyone on the island learned to care for each other.

What I think would happen when the fridge door is closed is that everything would come to life and that the fridge would be like a city called “Fridge City.”  The milk would be the king of the fridge because it is the biggest.  Some thing that I think would happen include:

One day, the milk carton was empty.  There was no milk to lead Fridge City!  It was CHAOS!  It didn’t seem like Milk would return for awhile because of the COVID-19 pandemic and the stores were out of milk!  Everyone in Fridge City started to get worried without a leader.  But Moldy Cheese decided to take advantage of the leaderless situation and started to act like a bully to all the other food in Fridge City.  This caused more chaos.  The frozen bananas started to act like zombies, and the half-eaten fruit walked around asking, “have you seen a piece of me?” The eggs were scared of everyone and were worried they’re going to get cracked.

Baby Carrot was very upset with how much of a bully Moldy Cheese was becoming.  “I have to do something!” thought Baby Carrot. He went to Lettuce to see if she would lead but she wouldn’t because she had babies to take care of. Then he went to Mr. Apple, but he didn’t want to get involved because he didn’t want to get brused again. Then he thought if anyone could help it would be the MEAT. When he went to the meat and cheese compartment, Baby Carrot asked the Meat to be king, the Meat said no because he was scared that he would get hurt. That was when Baby Carrot got an idea, it was that they could be king together. They all thought it was a good idea. But that was when the Moldy Cheese arrived. The fight began!!!  Just as they started fighting they all noticed the fridge door start to open.  They all had to run to their places very quickly.  All of a sudden, the mom grabbed Moldy Cheese and threw him in the garbage.  Everyone started to cheer except for Baby Carrot.  He really wanted Milk back in Fridge City.  In the corner of Baby Carrot’s eye, he saw on the table a new milk carton.  He was so happy he started to cheer too. When the milk carton entered the fridge.  All of Fridge City told the milk about Baby Carrot’s bravery.  All of Fridge City, including the milk, considered Baby Carrot a hero.  The end.

If I had a dream bike it would be the trick bike schwinn because there are four of them in the world. They made them in the 80’s . My dad has one and the grip on the handle is awesome. It’s so sticky but when you take your hand off, your hand isn’t sticky at all. My dad lets me use it sometimes. My dad can do some tricks on it but to be honest , I can’t do any. Since it’s from the 80’s there aren’t any wires so you can spin the bike around. The paint on it is purple but most of the paint came of. The wheels on it aren’t that big but they go fast. The seat on it is really uncomfortable because it’s meant for you to stand up. The bike it self is also kinda small. If I saw it for the first time I would think it’s a rusty old bike from the 50’s but that’s just my opinion. Make sure to comment what your favorite trick is on your bike. Thanks for reading my blog. 1. revolted:  you can find this word on page 150. The definition of this word is when something is causing a lot of disgust. A sentence I made is,”there is a revolting smell in the air.”
2. seam: you can find this word on page 150 again and the definition of this word is when a line along which two pieces of fabric are sewn together. A sentence I made is, “my shirt has a big seam in it.”
3. monotonous: you can find this word on page 156.  The definition of this word is the lacking of variety and interest. A sentence I made is, “I find cleaning my room to be a very monotonous thing to do.”
4. crematorium:  you can find this word on page 157.  The definition of this word is that it is a place where they cremate dead bodies in a furnace with intense heat.  A sentence I made is, “there are crematoriums all over the world and they are used to cremate dead bodies.”

The thing’s I like to do in my spare time are playing ball hockey in my basement, playing hockey on my team and playing on my PS4. I also play basketball in my front yard. The reason I like to do these things is because hockey has been my favorite sport since I was 4 years old. I also played basketball every day last summer. Now I think I’m really good at it. For me the best book I have ever read this year was AMULET book 8 SUPERNOVA . My favorite memory in 2019 was going to penticton in the summer to see my relatives and the Winnipeg Blue Bombers winning the grey cup. My favorite thing about 2019 was that there was so many important dates like the 75 year anniversary of D-Day – the Battle of Normandy, and the 100 year anniversary of the Winnipeg strike 1919.

Something I want to learn this year is learning about world war 2 . I want to get better at hockey this year. My goal for this year is to make A 1 hockey in my league. I also had my birthday on new years eve. Wishing you a happy new year!

My holiday tradition are:

going to the forks to play hockey. I go see a movie on Christmas eve. My family always reads the night before Christmas on Christmas  eve night. I am going to be honest here because I don’t have a lot of traditions but I like what I have. thanks for reading.
